Douglas Pisces question

So I am looking for a 51 P bass, single coil pup, contours and a jazz width neck - the Pisces looks perfect. I need a very light bass and Rondo music says they handle so many in a week they cannot weigh one for me which leads me to believe they don't even open the boxes from China before shipping out. Their website says 8.5 pounds (I really need closer to 8 for my back) and I've only been able to verify the weight of 1 thru an owner and it was over 9.5 pounds. Anybody got one and willing to weight it so I can get a feel for what might arrive if I order one?

Kurt has a great return policy so you're safe either way, but here's what I did.

When I placed my last Rondo order, I simply put in the extra comments section that it would be really helpful if he sent a light one since I've got bad back problems.

I don't know if he actually picked a light one or it was a happy accident, but I got an ash Ursa 2 that weighs 9 pounds. Not bad for a jazz.

It couldn't hurt to try that. Either way you could send it back if it's too heavy.
