Has anyone tried the DPA with the new adaptor, with a F-C P.U. I was considering going in that direction,but I was wondering if the adapter would interfere with the F-C input jack that is located under the strings?

Double Bass Dpa with Full Circle

You can put the mic connector below the Full Circle plug. It's not actually designed to mount to anything specific on the bass. It's usually attached with cable ties and velcro strips somewhere on the tailpiece.

I think he means the new bass mic mount that goes on the string after length between the bridge and the tailpiece.
To answer your question, yes, I am currently trying out the other dpa mic mounts (guitar, violin, horn) because the full circle jack AND the mic mount do not both fit well together on the string after length.
I'm just about to skim through the dpa megathread to see if there are alternative methods with the guitar and violin mount.

Looks like since I don't use a Full Circle there is a problem with the bass mic mount. That's unfortunate, because I tried long and hard to use a Violin mount, and believe me, on some basses, like mine, it just dosen't work all that well. The DPA thread has three bassic workarounds for the Violin Mount, between the holes in the bridge, clipped onto the tailpiece, and clipped to the inner bout. None of those worked all that well for me. Look's like you could put both devices onto the afterlength, but it's bound to dampen your sound with that much hanging off the strings. Another possiblity would be one of Jonas Losses Lando Clips that mount through the string holes in the tailpiece.

I have been using both for a couple of weeks now and am happy with the results. Plenty of room on the afterlength. I guess there may be some dampening effect, but for me that that is more than made up for in the increased sonic capabilities. I hook the adapter onto my bow quiver.
FYI, I am currently going direct with both into my Clarus, then to the EA Wizzy ten.

I was hoping that someone would chime in with this particular combination. It looked that way to me too, but since I don't have a fishman, it's hard to tell from the pictures.

The Full Circle pick-up has a male RCA connector that plugs into the back of the 1/4" connector, which mounts to the strings between the bridge and tailpiece. You can easily adapt that 1/4" female connector to mount to the tailpiece (like the Underwood & Realist). The only potential issue I see is that you may need to lengthen the cable from the FC PU.

BTW - I was considering using this combination myself. I'd probably try to create a wiring harness that used a mini 5-pin cannon connector with a single cable running to my amp. Easily accomplished if one possesses some soldering chops and a bit of mechanical ingenuity.
