Dr. Bass

You know, as far as I can tell it's plain impossible to search for "Dr. Bass" in the forums -- "dr" is too short and it throws out "bass." I have no idea what's possible, but could you implement quoted searches, so that when I type

"dr bass"

(with the quotes) in the search box, it does the whole phrase? There's been a couple of other times I've bumped into the same issue, although i don't recall why. (Like, "6 string gauges" wouldn't produce anything, either.)

I finally used Google to search this site, which, while I feel clever about it, seems kinda kludgy.

The search functionality is quite limited in this version of forum software that we're running. Good news is there's an update that will make these kinds of searches easy. Maybe a month or so away...
