DR DDT for BEAD tuning?

So right now Im using the light gauge marcus miller 5 string set (the B is a .125) and I need something with a little more stability. From what I have read the DDT's seem to be a higher tension string. Do you think the DDT .125 would work well/better for BEAD or should I still look for a larger gauge?

I have a 4-string set, I think the lowest is 105 or 110. I do alotta drop D. If I have time today I'll throw them on a bass.

Yea its a 34" scale fender american std p-bass. i will have to check out circle k

The DR DDT strings should have a higher tension. From what I've read about them the DDT strings are supposed to have a thicker core wire that's supposed to prevent string flop when down tuning.

The DDTs are not higher tension, they are just more stable and true. One of the best Bs I've ever played.
