DR "Legend" Flats

I know this is an old post, but I just recently changed from Chromes 45-100 to DR Legend 45-105 because the Chromes felt like bridge cables to me, and my fretting hand was feeling abnormally sore. The Legends to me have the tension of a round wound, which is exactly what I was looking for. As far as a realistic audio example their tonal quality - below is a live performance where the bass player is using Legends. Head to the 6:40 mark.

They sound like other more "modern" flats to my ears, lots of upper mids but not a lot of thump and punch. Not a bad thing, just a different flavor. I'd kind od lump them into the TI Jazz Flat and Dunlop flat camp as far as sound. Obviously there is a lot more to factor in like the style of the player, amp and EQ settings, how they are recording and processing the signal, etc., but I tend to like more to "feel" the bass than hear it, if that even makes sense.
