DR Lo Rider Nickel Tuning Issue

So, years ago I tried DR strings and wanted to like them. However, the first two pairs I bought broke on me during a practice and at a gig. Literally never happened to me before or since with any other brand. Anyway, years go by and I decide to give these a try. I get my Jazz stringed up and in tune according to my Boss TU-3. Queue up a song to practice to and everything is tuned a half step too high. Thinking I'm crazy, I pull out my Precision with a fresh pair of Dunlop nickel rounds, tune it up to standard with my tuner and then compare it to the Jazz with DRs. Sure enough, the DRs are a half step higher. What could be causing this?

Maybe your bandmates have played a practical joke on you, behind your back.

I strung up my P bass with a set of Nickel Lo-Riders 10 days ago, and no issue with tuning stability or breakage. In fact, these are probably one of the most tuning-stable strings I've ever used. So, it can't be the strings themselves that are causing the problem. I also use the Boss TU-3 and nothing wonky there, either.

Yes, I feel silly. They are a higher gauge than my old strings. I reset the intonation and it's fine now.
