The stickiness on most strings is usually just residue from the manufacturing process and goes away after using them for a while. Get a little sweat on them and wipe them down after ever gig and the stickiness goes away. The same thing happens with some flats.
Strings sound different on different basses-
sure would help to know which basses they sound great on, on which ones not?
Please help us all out, here...
I have a black light in my bathroom!

the first mistake is having anything to do with a chick in a band , some guys get enough like chicks all by themselves without the influence of a split-tail in close proximity .
Do anyone know if the 4 string set will fit on a 35" scale bass?
I have an Ibanez BTB 35" 4 string bass.
