Hey everyone! So I've been a long time user of DR Strings. Specifically Lo-Riders and High Beams. I tried these new Pure Blues strings and I've been really enjoying them!
They sound great! They feel great with plenty of bite, they're flexible but not flimsy, bright but not harsh and have plenty of body and fullness to them....
Thank you for the input! Do you have experience with nickel LoRiders? I'm wondering how the outer wrap feel and low-end of the Pure Blues compares to them.
I'm interested from a purely metallurgical standpoint. Not alloy 52, not cobalt, not pure nickel. Apparently a material that's never been used for bass strings before. I wonder what it is.
Maybe it's a tungsten alloy...but doubtful. Maybe a high nickel alloy like and 825.

Or vibranium. Possibly uru.I heard it's adamantium.
Don't you go get my hopes up like that.
Anyway, I don't think they would call them "quantum nickel" if they were tungsten, but you never know.
I must admit I'm not keeping up here. Where did the whole "4" thing come from?I can't see 4 alloys of nickel being used. I'm guessing that it's referring to 4% nickel content, 40% nickel content or a blend of 4 metals with nickel being the majority percentage.

Maybe unobtainium?Or vibranium. Possibly uru.
