The "Super Bright" name is purely marketing. D'Addario XL's are brighter, as are lots of other strings. The are similar to Sunbeams due to their tension. Are they really comparable? I haven't played the Dunlop Super Brights, but I would guess from the name that they are super bright. Sunbeams are probably the least bright round I've ever played.

Know it well. Moose Lodge on Turlington is a favorite venue. Still in Great Neck across from First Colonial HS.

That is both cool and dangerous....now someone has a map to knock off bass players.Sorry to hijack this thread momentarily, but it's a good opportunity to remind folks of the TalkBass Members Map, which you can all find here (TalkBass: members map), and you're all welcome to add yourselves.

In the Security world, this is a classic demonstration of how two data points, when disconnected, in and of themselves are fairly low risk. Combine them however and you now have Personally Identifiable Information, which is regulated and higher riskWorse than that...I have warrants. Ah, not to worry: the VB police couldn't track a badly wounded elephant through 3 feet of fresh snow.

we had a thread on here a few years ago about how misleading the 'Super Bright' name was, as they don't really have extended treble at all.
