Does this string doesn't have the mid growl tone(like jaco or tom kennedy). I have a Fender Jazz bass with a J-Retro. And I like strings that are warm and with a mid tone.

You can get a good Jaco sound by rolling off the neck pickup. The string has some bite, but is mainly mellow. Not dead/thumpy like a flatwound, but much less zing than a round. Simply awesome string.
I JUST put these strings on my J retro-outfitted J-bass yesterday. Definitely liked the feel of the strings, but was only able to play for about 20 minutes before my son's bath time. From what I heard though, I dig them -- warm, but not flat sounding. I don't think they are for slapping, but that's not an issue for me. I had the MM DRs on the bass before, and they are warmer than the Millers.
Sunbeams are one of my favorite. They're a bit more "scooped" sounding than most nickels but still definitely warmer than an SS round.
If you're not getting a Jaco tone out of your fretless J with nickel rounds then your problem probably lies in EQ, pickup selection, or right hand technique.

Because I have a DR Sunbeam but its not yet on my bass. And im just wondering if its going to lose some the mid tone of my bass . I have Elixir now on my bass
So do you guys think that i will not lose that mid tone (like jaco or tom kennedy) If I put DR Sunbeams?

+1.....very mid oriented. I guess people hear different things since some here are saying they are scooped.
To me though:
* punchy
* warm
* natural clarity as opposed to zingy highs
* wonderful feel...both in flex and smoothness
I can't say enough good things about these great strings....or the company that makes them.

I'm mainly an SS rounds guy and pretty much sunbeams makes me a nickel convert! Love them to death! 
Put Sunbeams on my P bass awhile ago, at first I wasnt that knocked out by them as it was my first experience with the DR brand, but after playing them for a month or two they sound pretty good. I would agree that I,ve used other brands that sounded better for slap, but as I dont really do much of that anymore they work just fine for my style of playing.
I am running sunbeams on my fretless SR5 and love them!
The midrange area is what I enjoy, they are a mellower string.
I am recording later this week I'll try to get some samples.
