if you could be in a band with any musicians from any point in history, who would they be? Id probably like patrick carney on drums, jimmy page on guitar, and jeff buckley on vocals. (Myself on bass of course). It would be weird I know......

Helena Bonham Carter on vocals if she could sing, Jenna Haze on guitar if she could play, and that brown haired girl from the home movie on the 'adult' websites that's been making the rounds lately on keys. I don't care if she could play, she'd just be fun to be around. Various members of the ladies Brazilian soccer team circa 1999 for a horn section would be great. Lastly, toss Ron Jeremy on drums for the hell of it 'cause he doesn't need sticks to play drums, if you know what I mean.

Wait... what was the question?

You're right on with Jeff Buckley (he can play guitar too if he wants to). I'd also go for Monteverdi on keys, me on bass, Paul Gilbert, Bill Frisell, John McLaughlin on guitars, Mel Torme on vocals and sometimes drums, though Peart gets the throne most of the time. Wow, that's all very strange picks, huh?

Steve Harris ( from Iron maiden ) Bass
I dont know any drummers !!! ( Damn -.- )
Me ! Irish whistle

It would be a folk metal band :P to bad it never happen.

Robyn Hitchcock, lead vocals and rhythm guitar
Richard Barbieri, synth magic
Bill Nelson, lead guitar
Gavin Harrison, drums
...me, hiding in the corner with the sloppy bass

I'd also be happy to play rhythm bass for The Who, if I could take a time machine back to the 1970s.

I see a lot of names listed of people who are good musicians, but have too many conflicting styles to make a cohesive band. For my money, let me take Tommy Shannon's place in Double Trouble...playing bass behind Stevie Ray Vaughan would have been as good as it gets. He has the chops, and is a far better vocalist than most.
