Drinking lemon/vanilla/almond extract? Safe?

 So it took two pages for someone to say the following?

"You are a fugging idiot, find something better to do with your time and perhaps find some smarter friends to do it with!"

There is a new story every day of yet another stupid-ass kid injesting/inhaling something completely ridiculous "just to try it" and ending up in a body bag. It's reached new levels of complete idiocy these days. A good friend lost his son last year to inhaling the fumes from microwaved cat tranquilizers. I am not making that up. American teens today are HELLI-stupid in ways previous generations could only imagine. If you have to ask a bass player forum "is it safe" to drink cooking extracts for a buzz, add yourself to the HELLI-STUPID list dude, you just went to the head of the class.

You'll get nothing but mockery and dope slaps from this camp.:rollno:

Scott Zoltok should have been in this thread to pour scorn on the OP. So I'm here doing his job:

BAD OP! NO! DON'T BE STUPID!
Argh! Where did this "OP" deal come from? It always strikes me as a sign of extreme laziness because apparently it's too much work to copy/paste the name of the thread poster and address them with it. :hiding:

Not trying to rag on you, Toasted, I at least hope you didn't invent it. :p

Alcoholics have been shoplifting extracts for years, it does seem to work. If you really wanted to get wigged out try Lysol.

"Welch climbs back to the road, and wanders up the hills behind the Chicken Coop Café. This is where those desperate for alcohol, but without means to leave the reservation, choke down Lysol, which has a 70 percent alcohol content. A pile of punctured spray cans lie as evidence."

Alcoholics can be the most pathetic of all the drug addicts. It's amazing it's not treated like other drugs.

It's a standard BBS/forum abbreviation for "Original Poster". It's older than Toasted is.

Don't use it if you don't like it.

You might want to avoid smilies as well.
