Driving test tomorrow

Don't hit a turkey. I'm serious. I had two hours of driving time I still needed to log before I got my licence, so my mother made me drive way out almost to kansas (from central Colorado). This town happens to have one of it feels like four DMV's on the front range (CDOT sucks). This town also has at least two hundred stupid wild turkeys that hang around and think that the roads were built for them. I didn't hit one thankfully. But the instructor said that one out of every ten people taking the test manage to hit one of those stupid birds.

If it's raining you need to check where the controls are for de-misting the windows.

My father told me how he failed a test as the windows misted up and he was failed for driving unsafely - but he just forgot where they were.

As to what you said about mirrors - yes they expect that before you make any manouver, you will look in your mirrors first, then indicate - this is the kind of thing they note down on tick sheets.

The other big tip I remember is never let the car roll backwards, when you are at lights etc. - this is an instant fail no matter what else you do!

PS - Just relax and Good Luck!!
