The neck might be salvageable if the truss rod works. Depending on when it was made it could be a Brazilian board (looks like Indian though). The headstock could have material glued to it to make it useable. $10.

Cool, One could drill another tuner hole for 3+1. It would be like a Music Man!
In fact, with enough body filler, I could make a “Bondo Bongo”!

Actually, I’m pretty sure it not drugs that caused this. I’m thinking in this case drugs were needed as a preventative measure and weren’t prescribed....

Anyway, playing devils advocate, there is a traditional 3 string african instrument (Bora I think) that had a gourd resonator and animal skin head. It also had jingles on it. This would have been some sort of electric version of trying to recreate that.
