Double Bass Drum'n'bass double bass

Hi all,
I recently started with an originals band that plays sort of chilled jazzy tunes with female singer, mostly slower tempos, instruments being drums-el.guit-synth-two voices, and my double bass. On some tunes, the drummer plays these fast nervous grooves against a simple synth, which leads me towards the drum'n'bass territory. I know nothing of that style really.

Is there someone who plays or listens to drum'n'bass (with double bass), and would share some leads with me?

Definitely check out 4Hero's Two Pages album. Red Snapper also gets into some D&B territory on some of their late 90's material. There's a lot of flexibility where the bass is concerned. A large amount of D&B features very sparse electronic bass (not even actual bass lines), and some features more active basslines. A lot of jungle (the precursor to D&B) features sampled reggae basslines, so you can always keep that in mind.
