Drum owners and operators are responsible for the use of the devices- that can be viewed as a criminal activity. This group band text came in yesterday.
"How about December 23 at the Wagon Wheel?"
"Sounds great!"
let's do it!"
(BL) "we'll be playing indoors, drums are allowed".
(Me) "DRUMS ARE NOT A CRIME!"
(Drummer) "Lol "
The budding microbrewery scene in Charlotte is so strange...
We had this gig for almost 2 years at a little country family restaurant. The owner was a rocker and very cool but his dinner crowd were country church people. They weren't there to hear music at 6pm, they just wanted their chicken fried steak and deep fried okra with some hush puppies. We'd start at a volume of .05 and some biddies could be seen with the fingers in the ears. Scott ended live music almost a year ago.Drum owners and operators are responsible for the use of the devices- that can be viewed as a criminal activity.
This isn't Cliche Corner, Brohammer. Get on our level.15 messages and no one's stated the obvious.
Fire the drummer.
I swear, the low bar's falling even lower.
I know a bar that won't have drums, thanks a neighbour whining at anything too loud. This group band text came in yesterday.

Every one of which is better-known than anything we will writeAt every show. I slightly changed the name of the brewery to protect the not so innocent. Wagon Wheel goes down on the list of "things I'm not even gonna hum" if I ever retire. Mony Mony. Brown Eyed Girl. Oh so many...

I accept that. With all due respect, I've already spent a lifetime stooping this low.
A third of our gigs are duo. There are several reasons.I know a bar that won't have drums, thanks a neighbour whining at anything too loud.

I probably blocked out the trauma. I'm the marrying kind of bass player. Meaning I try to join bands I'm gonna be in for years.I see you've never done 20-to-life on a four hour gig with a terrible drummer.
