Dual Channel Bass Head

Hello everyone! I am new to the forum, so I hope I'm posting this in the correct place. The Eden Metro combo has a cool feature where you can switch between tube and solid state with a footswitch. Are there any other bass heads out there that have a similiar function?
I'd like to be able to switch between two different tones in the middle of some songs. I'll probably find something used off of ebay, so it doesn't have to be an amp that is still in production.
I'll be using the head with an eden 2x10 cab and I'll probably include an Eden 1x12 cab later on. Any info on kinds of heads that would pair up nicely would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, there are others. Look into recent Genz Benz heads... I know there are several others, I just can't think of them ATM. Also if the tone you're after includes some dirt on one channel, look into the Aguilar AG500 or certain GK heads, as they include good footswitchable dirt channels.

Another option is to get a clean solid-state head and a tube-preamp stompbox like the DHA VT1, EBS Valvedrive, or SIB Fat Drive. The stomp unit essentially gives any amp a footswitchable tube channel. The DHA is my personal choice for that-- check out a review of it I wrote in TB's reviews section.

Something else to consider is many diferent amps have a eq section that can be turned on/off by a footswitch plugged into the amp. These are probably allot more common than true 2 channel amps like the Eden you mentioned. If you run across any amps with this feature you could set up 2 diferent foot switchable tones pretty easy.

I currently own a Peavey TMAX head which consists of both a tube and solid state preamp. There is a footswitch controller that selects between ss and tube as well as turns the eq on or off. I don't have the footswitch, but have trying to sell the amp for years.

the eden 1205 can switch between 2 channels and then ontop of that you have an enhance bypass so you can flick that on or off to get two different tones in a song. Epifani makes two amps like that (essentially the same preamp but with different power amp sections). Genz Benz makes a similiar one that switches from tube to solid state i believe. Eden gets my vote in tone and features by far but their reliability has been questionable lately.
