DUBSTEP Effects.

Did a search found nothing. Looking for some effects that could give me some debstep wobble. Not dub guys. dubstep. thanks!

Normally this is done by layering 4 syth octaves with mildy different parameters so that the signal sounds like its wobbling.

i've messed around with it on the cheap. it consisted of my of OC2 with the direct signal off, into a chorus, into a tremolo, into a boost/gain pedal.

Those OC2 octave tones get you "synth" sounding, the chorus colors it (you can use flange, filter, whatever for this) the tremolo does your wobble and then you just need to raise the signal volume with a boost or cranking your amp cause tremolos suck your volume. you basically have to tap the notes with your fretting hand and ride the speed knob on the tremolo with the other

Good luck. I don't find the whole Dubstep thing massively appealing... give me King Tubby or Scientist any day of the week (real dub).

I think its been proven difficult to get a dubstep sound from pedals. The first thing people seem to say is one of those old brown Boss octave pedals (because they punch out a gnarly sinewave or something instead of a straight modulated bass signal). After that you need some sort of LFO and filtering.

I've found it easy to get dubstep bass wobbles off my roommate's Roland Juno really easily. Its a synth effect not a modded out bass sound.

I actually am not found of the umph umph umph technos haha but dubstep, i love because the bass is so present. Also, the half time feel of the drums doesnt drill into my head. Though most people hate the wobble drill haha.
