Double Bass Duke LeJune's Birdhaus 4x6

It's only a matter of time until a "closeted" Gear Junkie comes out from the (overcrowded) Gear Closet.

(Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

So which cab, between Birdhaus, MAS45 and MAS18, do you think you'll grab most often now? They don't seem too much different in weight, footprint, correct? If you only could have one, which one?

Tough question, more like the right tool for the right job. The MAS 4x5.5 is my powered cab for Theater Shows and Outdoors, but it’s 30 lbs and bigger The powered MAS 1/8 for Jazz Clubs and casuals. The Birdhaus 4x6 isn’t a powered cab so it’s a backup.

Off topic.... but how are you attaching that in there? I have an AI combo with a dead amp.

3M Dual Lock. It's like 'industrial strength velcro'. Holds like crazy and you can remove and replace whatever you are attaching many, many times. It also works well for attaching a small pre-amp to your basses tailpiece and attaching most anything you can think of.
