Bought an amp head, kettle lead has a european plug and i live in the UK..so need a british one!

So....

Is a kettle lead just a kettle lead or.. do i need to buy some special type for an amp etc...

This is probably a really stupid question but... id rather be safe then ruin my beautiful GK mb 500 :D

By kettle lead, do you mean the IEC cable? I'm not familiar with the term kettle lead, apparently from being on the wrong side of the pond :p

Manual says that it's configured the same for either eu or uk power, just a different IEC cable. So I would think that you jsut need to go to your local radio shack equivalent and purchase your IEC cable for the equivalent of $5... To transfer the equivalent power... Ok, I'm done.
