Duncan apollo is the best so far.

Audio I/F: Steinberg UR242

Sorry for bad play and my english.

Sounds good! Why do you prefer these over the others you've used?

Thank you for your reply.

1. I feel Apollo has Fender feeling more than the others.
2. The tone balance between Hi, Mid, Low is very good to me. Especially for mid mellow tone.
3. Rear only tone(Jaco tone) is very deep and thick but not loose clearness.

My 2-in-1 Jazz bass(Video) has rather thin tone character, so Deep and Thick tone pickup is well matching.

These pickups sound frickin’ awesome.
I believe these have the tone I’ve been looking for.
I have been “on the fence” with my SD QP 5’s...though they have great presence and attack, I feel that there’s something missing in them.
I’ve been trying to confirm that the 5-string version of these have a bit of a radius in the pole-pieces...(?). From what I can tell, they do, but can anyone confirm that for sure?

-tangent here...-
One of my “pet peeves” on Jazz pickups (or any for that matter) when you have a 7.5-9.5” fretboard radius and have flat pickup pole pieces. The QP’s have a slight radius, but the 67-70 single-coil pickups don’t...which is why I hesitate with those.
I’m not sure why more pickups aren’t made that way. Some MIM jazz pickups have them, some don’t. The OEM Fender Marcus Miller pickups do (in a fretless I have)

Which nordstands humcancelling pups did you try?

Hi guys! May be this would be helpful for some one. I made comparison between stock American Professional Fender Jazz Bass V Mod-v pups and Seymour Duncun Apollo Jazz Humbuckers.

Firts part - stock fender jazz bass mod-v pups
Second part - Seymour Duncan Apollo Jazz bass Humbuckers.

Use headphones for detailed listening.
