Dunlop 105Q being discontinued?

did you buy it at GC? if so, they could have been mistaken (or, you could have misinterpreted).

the 105Q has (long ago) been discontinued by GC... meaning GC will no longer carry it as regular stock. salespeeps sometimes confuse the status code for "discontinued by vendor" with the "discontinued by GC" one.

:rollno:

but that would mean you *could* order it, seeing as they're giant customers, right?

I hope it isn't being discontinued. I have been GASing for one for a couple of years, never got round to getting one. I will email Dunlop and find out.

Watch this space!!!!

EDIT:
Email sent (7.05pm, UK time). This can also serve as a test of their customer support speed....

EDIT 2:
Reply received (11.06pm, UK time). They said that they have not discontinued the 105Q, and currently have no plans to do so.

Woot woot!!!

I really like my 105Q. Its funky and sounds great with all my basses. I think it has just the right amount of tweakability.

I tweaked the internal trim pot so that it turns off as soon as you let go of the pedal.

The bypass is not bad, and I'm really picky about tone suck.

I have only tried the Morley Pro Series II wah (which I own) and it doesn't really work well for bass.

But I'malways suprised to hear people slam the Dunlop. The older black Dunlop bass wah was god awful but the white one is pretty sweet.
