Which Morley are you talking about exactly?

I'm just generalizing, but in particular, the best ones (IMHO) are the old chrome ones, the current reissue Power Wah, and the Dual Bass Wah. The old chrome Power Wah Boost takes the cake for best Morley ever

I have only tried the Morley Pro Series II wah (which I own) and it doesn't really work well for bass.

Yeah, I've heard the same. I've never tried out any of the Pro Series models, though.

On a different note... Dunlop seems to completely deny the existence of the their original black bass wah, always citing the white 105Q as the "first" bass wah they made

Im glad it not discontinued. I have never owned one, but its one of those pedals that sits on the GAS list, but is a little too far down to ever get a look in. Something always sits above it
