I have definitely used fuzz on country gigs before but last night was a "clip on tuner, straight to the amp" opener slot.

First impressions after noodling around: I need to reread the Witchfinder description on Magic's site to understand what the switches do, but holy crow. I've been using the Minotaur Swamp Lord almost exclusively, and the Witchfinder hits the same range of doom sounds but with more tweakability. The Wizard Fuzz is rad but will take some more time to figure out. Brightest LED yet!
Im curious if the Witchfinder will knock the BSRI FZZ off my board. I like that fuzz a lot, but they’re similar designs. Truth is, I might just run both for different sounds.
I don’t know if there are any Conan fans around here, but I’m kinda curious if Jon is still using the custom Fuzz Throne and/or Nihilist on the new material. The tone is so filthy and sludgy.
The BSRI sounds like it offers something different enough, based on the demo. I struggle with most hyperfuzzes on bass, but imo, the Witchfinder improves upon the FZ-2. ..I’m looking forward to A/B'ing the rev 4 Witchfinder with the OG Witchfinder

From an IG post a while back he had the Fuzz Throne still on his board along with a DS-1 and an old Big Muff.

I am expecting and hoping to be receiving a new pedal from Magic, but it’s been crickets. I ordered a Witchfinder what seems to me ages ago.
I just emailed Magic asking for an update. I looked up the date I ordered/paid for the pedal and it was May 7. I also looked on FB and saw a post indicating that he was building 25. On June 16 Magic posted a photo of a batch being constructed… did anyone receive one from the batch of 25?
I also ordered a Witchfinder (and Wizard) on 5/7 and received them last Friday (7/22). On 5/8, I ordered a Magick Fuzz and HM-2 which I have yet to receive.
I'm in the May 7 order group, but I haven't received mine. I recall he recently posted that there would be two Witchfinder batches going out. Evidently I wasn't in that first batch.
