Magic takes his sweet time fulfilling orders. It is what it is. You can't complain about the build quality once you actually get your stuff.
I don’t mind waiting, as long as I don’t get hit by a bus before it arrives. For most of my adult life I’ve used a contractor’s formula, given time estimate x 2. It has served me well. Based on my formula, if I receive my Witchfinder before Halloween, it’s within my expectation.
Can anyone with a v2 Parabellum grab measurements for me? I just ordered one and am curious how big a hole it's going to need on the board.
5.7 wide by 4.7 long, rounding up to be conservative. It sounds great too.
Same. As someone who ordered all 3 I expect to get it last. You'd think he'd want to fulfil those who got more first but sadly I think it goes with the opposite logic.
In other news, scored a Tyrant on the cheaper/cheapest end of what I have seen them go for. Excited for the mail.
Ah, same size as my Meatball clone. Between those two and my Oracle, it's going to be a board with big pedals on it.
It still isn’t wired up because I’m waiting on those pedals. I guess I could make a video rolling through them at some point though.

I’m assuming he’s doing things in batches of like pedals. I think his workflow would be inefficient doing 3 different pedals for those who ordered 3. Then 2 different pedals for those who ordered 2. I think he’s probably not mapping out an optimized batch decision tree, and he’s just going for as many of each style as he can reasonably do in a batch.
Anyway you slice it, I figure my other option to get a Witchfinder was to watch the classifieds and pay a premium to someone who wasn’t involved in the production. I think I’d rather put my deposit down and wait for the guy actually building the boxes to build them.
I’m not too wound up about the wait. It’s a bit longer than I thought it might be, but it’s not causing me any problems (I’ve got enough of those in other areas of my life).
SS amp grit and grind. It can get pretty hairy as well. I usually switch between it and my MBD as my main always-on dirt.
I just have to say that while they may be cool collectors items, I absolutely hate the oversized enclosures. I know some find them novel, but it pretty much instantly rules them out for any live/practical use if you use more than a couple effects.
It depends how big your board is.
