ear buds

I have a boss gt-6b effects board and I want to use ear buds when I play. When I play through a sound mixer and the mixer is muted, I can hear through the buds. However, when the mixer is active, I cannot hear through them any longer. what can I do to get them to work all of the time? Please help!

you could have impedence issues.. have you tested another setup..

Sounds like you have a setting wrong.. do you have the owners manual?

i will have to go online to get the manual. I bought the pedal used.

OK here is my take of what you wrote. You are running the output of this Boss foot pedal into a mixing board and using headphones from the board to hear with. Now I am assuming the board has a headphone out. Next I read you lose the headphones when you turn the mixer on to an amp say for a PA use? Is this all correct? If so I suspect the mixer mutes the headphone out when it is active.

Does the boss have a headphone out on it. I looked at a picture of its back panel and it looks like it does. if so why use a sound mixer?
