Wow. Beautiful work. Reminds me of a guitar I donated to a school years back. The school had it pinstriped by a local tattoo artist and sold it at raffle for quite a bit of money. The girl who won it is still playing it. I hope you have this one and play it for at least that long.

My custom Cabronita needed some final touches to really finish it off and @BassHappy has been an inspiration [to many on TB].

Thought I would hire a pinstripe artist from a local chop shop. Low & behold I stumbled upon a pinstripe legend in my own backyard [well, across the River].

Jim "Dauber" Farr lives on Cincy's West Side and was the first pinstripe artist inducted into the US Drag Racing Hall of Fame. Stopped by his studio and gave minimal instruction, really wanting him to do what he does best.

Love the results. The legend himself.

I remember going to car shows in my youth where guys were pin striping cars. Was always amazed by how intricate those guys could get by free hand. Then reproduce the exact same thing on the other side of the car.

Putting that art work on a classic bass like that is just, well, classy!
