A notherner looked at my PJB rig the other day and said "Five inch speakers! Why, that's nothing, we have cabs the size of a carton of smokes with two-thousand ipod speakers! And what's up with those crooked frets?"

Hello to all the ETTB brethren. I've decided to return from my self-imposed TB exile and get back into the flow of things here.
I had a great time playing 1776 at Oak Ridge Playhouse in July. I've played four shows this year so far, but probably won't be in action in theatre again until November.

It was fun reading back through what all has transpired this summer. I take it a GTG has not happened this year?

A GTG is possible, I just really need to hear about commitment. It's a lot of work and trouble if only a couple guys show up. Not that it still can't be fun with low attendance, but you get the picture.
If someone wants to take lead on lining up peotential dates and garnering participation, I'm positive we can use the church in Maryville again.

I just put in the request to make sure that date is open. Anyone know how to attach a poll to the thread to get an idea of attendance?
That Saturday date would be much better for me. The Sundays were always too hard for me to make due to church. I am having some health issues at the moment, but Lord willing by then I will be back healthy and have that day off and be able to come. I would love to meet some of you guys and put names to faces and such. If you are like me, I have "PM'ed" a lot of you guys but never got to meet in person. I look forward to being able to do that!!

Have to cut it off at 3, I have a gig that evening that's a long haul, so I have to be on the road no later than 3:30.
Three hours is a good amount of quality GTG time though, so mark your calendars!
