Hey guys; just thought I would post this here real quick. I get a notification every time somebody posts in this thread. I know a lot of you are posting and saying you don't.
You have to be marked that you want to receive email notifications. So, at the top right hand of this thread right now, there is a place to "Unwatch Thread". You can click that and unwatch the thread. Then stay there and the "Watch Thread" option will come up next. It will give you 2 options, to watch the thread and:
1. Receive e-mail notifications.
2. Without receiving e-mail notifications.
If you choose option 1, then you will receive an alert on the Talkbass home page every time someone posts in this thread or any other thread that you have chosen option number 1 for. Hope this helps!!! Have a great week guys!!! Any questions let me know.
Barry
Plus, just had my Silhouette Bass converted to a baritone.
I pick it up today.
Anybody interested? Ampeg Micro-VR bass rig in good, barely used condition. The most portable, lightweight giggable rig I've owned. 200 watts. $400 OBO.View attachment 512026
I've got some touring to do and I'm getting my tour rig together. This needs to go to help fund things.
Text message coming your way.I need this like I need another, well, bass amp! But I've always wanted one of these, call me before you take a "less than reasonable" offer.
Simply beautiful!Btw guys... this bass rules! View attachment 512124View attachment 512125
The solid rosewood neck looks like fine chocolate in my hand and feels as good as my US Laklands.
Thanks!Simply beautiful!
Excuse my ignorance, but what are the notches in the nut for? Extra intonation feature?
Yeah that's what EBMM calls it too. I believe all their current US basses have it except the Classic series.I think I had heard the term "compensated nut" before, but thought it was in reference to acoustic instruments. Nice attention to detail!
I'm curious what you are building for a tour rig. Can you share any details, or is this private for now?Anybody interested? Ampeg Micro-VR bass rig in good, barely used condition. The most portable, lightweight giggable rig I've owned. 200 watts. $400 OBO.View attachment 512026

I'm going lightweight and as small as I can stand. Ugh... remember my dual Berg NV rigs and 2 GB Shuttle 6.0s? Then it was two Eden WT800s powering 3-way Carvin PA cabs = 1600 watts baby!! My tour rig will be a Shuttlemax 9.2 and two Aguilar 1x12s :-/. I hope I can get a sound I like.I'm curious what you are building for a tour rig. Well, small I can't help you with brother, but if you hit some stadiums I have some serious Phil Jones schleppage sitting extra in the garage with your name on it!I'm going lightweight and as small as I can stand.
