Thanks man, I really did LAUGH OUT LOUD at that one :D (time for a refill... where's my scotch :help:).

Looking forward to meeting the east TN guys! And I'm serious, we can do the gear swingers convention in my basement (hiding my scotch and bourbon though ;).... maybe), but be warned, if you break in my house to steal my gear you'll find that my other hobby (collecting handguns) is not as NICE!!

Hey Jody,
I'm still pretty much all Dingwall all the time, I had to have a Ritter tho to see what the fuss is about. She's sweet, very light and fast, the neck profile and "stacked" string spacing takes some getting used to. I'm still on the fence about cashing everything out and getting a Prima Artist, build time has dropped from 4-1/2 years to 9 months now.

I saw you're starting a new band, how much is my Third Obsession black T going to be worth in the future?:ninja:

HAHA, your black t-shirt is gonna be worth about 2 bucks.... if you cut it into carwash rags ;).

I played a Ritter or 3 out at the Lowend, I couldn't get into the string spacing: almost the same nut to bridge. Other than that, they're fine FINE instruments!

I'd get the Prima while you can bro!

I don't live in your great state, but just came on to chirp about what a great state it is. SO much natural beauty. Great people. Wide divergence of culture and things to do as you move East to West (or vice versa.)

I had been to Memphis and Nashville several times over the years, but the first time I got to see East Tennessee I was on my way moving myself and my family from Oklahoma to Virginia back in 2006 for a job. We stopped somewhere along the way right after we hit the Eastern Time zone for a break and meal, and then somewhere else further East for the night.

Oh man. I remember my wife and I were so taken with how gorgeous it was. Just awestruck. We joked about how we ought to just set the truck down there and put down stakes.

Not to mention, there is so much American musical history there. All over Tennessee really, but I know some of the very first commercial country recordings were made there, and then you ave the blues and jug band music from the Memphis area. Some of the finest dang bourbon in the world to boot!

I love where I'm living now, and it would be hard for me to leave this place so close to the coast, but Tennessee--and the Eastern part in particular--would certainly be a place I could live happily.

Alright... got me about 3 and a half hours sleep, and now it's time to get my basement ready for another drummer tryout. Also need to try to figure out how to fill in for the lack of guitar and keyboards in the covers we're gonna mess with. I love a challenge!

Anybody know an open-minded lead guitarist?
