East Tennessee Talkbass

This is one of my latest. I dremel'd it before I even plugged it in lol. I cut the guard and removed some wood so I could adjust the truss without removing the neck (like my Laklands). I also installed a '99 fender bridge, drilled for and mounted the covers, and installed a roller tree for the A and D strings. I also plugged and redrilled for the 1/4lb pup nearest the bridge, so that it would be centered better under the strings. I'm loving this bass!

My custom Lakland hanging on my Berg wall of boom, powered by 2 GB Shuttle 6.0s.

Unfortunately, this rig will be too much for my cover band that I'm putting together, and will be staying at home. Dangit!!

Pic was taken on the street in front of my house. The truck has been finished for about 5 years now. I also have a '92 Camaro RS that isn't in quite this shape, but is pretty decent. About three years ago, I sold a super low mileage, factory 4-speed, '81 Trans Am (that one paid for a couple of basses:D).

Wow Jeff!! And, I still sorta miss my old Dingwall, but not enough to go back to playing one. :-) Lately I've been in a "the simpler the better" mode: sold my 6 string Roscoe, and only play 4 strings in my cover band.

Send me a PM when you have your schedule, I'd like to come check you guys out!

Hey dogbluedrummer, how's the gig scene up in the Tri-Cities area lately?

We're still trying to decide which drummer to pick, have 2 great candidates that want the job.

And, we're still looking for the right singing guitarist, someone who understands that we're gonna play mostly bass driven dance/pop/funk stuff and some older rock that's also bass heavy and dance-able. Lotta shredders in the area or guys that don't have a funky bone in their whole body LOL! But, we'll get there and I'll definitely let you know when we play.
