I love the EB Cobalt flat in both tone and nice balance string tension. Unfortunately, this nice string appear some rusty spot after 3 months. Comfirm that I have no sweaty hand.

That does look like rust. Do you wipe it down after you play? Live in a humid environment, in the vicinity of the ocean or body of water? Just curious.
Yes, Cobalts rust easily. I think a harsh look at them will cause them to rust.
They also reacted badly to the frets on one of my instruments. I had to polish the frets after removing the Cobalt flats.
If it weren't for the rust issue, Cobalt flats might still be on a bass of mine.

GHS company should learn how to provide great customer service from Ernieball company, don't be shy.
And Ernieball company should learn from GHS company how to manufacture strings that don't need to be replaced because of premature rust or breakage, don't be shy.![]()
