IIRC, these were well under $300 when new. I think they might have been $225–$250. (The short scale versions, one of which I owned, were about $165-$175.) Being used shaves off 40-50 percent of that, and having mods adds [drumroll] nothing.
And you have to pay tax and shipping? Er...no. The price is absolutely laughable. Hard pass – the laugh right in his face kind. This bass should run its buyer $200 tops, including tax and delivery.
A used Squier should not sell for more than what it cost when new, regardless of mods. Someone else's mods do not add market value, period. When are people going to learn that?
Plus the black hardware is ugly as sin.
