ebay question

Well, without the skunk stripe, you would get the truss rod into a solid maple neck/fretboard... how? (sarcasm alert!!) :P

Concerning the price, this neck is not a bit better than a new one of similar quality, but it's a lot rarer, and that's what people pay for. You can't make something 50 years old by running it through a machine... other than the cash machine, that is :D
 
If people are posting a big dollar item on eBay, I expect much better than cell phone pictures. I also want more proof of the date than just body shots and dates.

I'm not saying that a real late 50's neck isn't worth several K, I'm just saying I think it's the seller's responsibility to take the time and effort to make it worth looking at his auction.
