eBay Scam

I was looking at Geddy Lee Jazz Basses on eBay and came across one seller who is selling like 5 in different auctions all starting at like $1. Some of the auctions are getting past $100 and so i was like maybe these are legit. So i look and this guy has the same picture for all of them which is not of the actual bass but just a standard geddy lee bass pic and has one feedback AND is located in Thailand. What are these people thinking? Arent they the slightest bit suspicious?:confused::confused:

I saw that too. For me it screams scam. Anyone who sells multiple expensive items like that is either a music retailer having a sale, or a scam artist. How, and more importantly, why, would an individual have more than 2 Geddy Lee basses to sell at the same time? Do you shell out $8,000 to buy 10 of them to resell? I doubt it.

Shipping WORLDWIDE from Thailand for $29.00 :eyebrow:
Gonna have to tell Ishibashi and a few others about that new discount shipping method?:rollno:

It's about as legit as most of the 50s and 60s Fenders on the 'bay, or for that mattter 50s an 60s parts.
Careful.
I unloaded a LOT of 60's t-Bird parts when I house-cleaned a year or two ago. In the 70's I had three 64's and a 76 so all the handrests, pickup covers, etc. that were in "the dusty ignored boxes" got eBay. There was also a broke-neck one that got entirely de-parted(it was my spare parts bin). It was the 2nd broke neck of those and the last 64 I bought(partly for that reason). I've still got a 64 pickguard that has not surfaced yet. It is(was) not cracked or yellowed at the parts donor stayed in a 60's case. It should pay for a few sets of strings.
