EBMM Game Changer - What Happened?

Perhaps they didn't promote it with the iWatch app: That would have surely saved the day. :roflmao:
Unfortunately technology can backfire as a selling point, in some instances. I think that The Game Changer bass has some definite strong points, and sounds good (Potentially). But attempting to be the lastest, greatest "app" took the focus away from where it really belongs, the bass. Even the name, I think, was destined to fall on deaf ears, more likely than not. EBMM does some great work. Thankfully, they won't suffer too much for this gaffe. some elements of the Game Changer may resurface later, and actually be well received. Something tells me that the posted video did very little to help the cause...Just one guys opinion.

Priced too high for the guys who are technology freaks and too much technology for the average old school studio guy that can afford it.
That's my take. Every bass with a super awesome change the game switching setup or sliding pickup has been underappreciated. Maybe that multicoil switching setup will make its way down to bottom of their price point and they'll sell more. I personally didn't want one cause I know my settings would sound like arse

I think all of the options like that are interesting, but don't help the music very much. On a gig I don't really have much time to change my sound up that subtly, and through a PA in a mix the differences probably will not be very noticed. Just my opinion of course. The settings that were out of phase seemed particularly useless to me.

Solution looking for a problem does seem to be accurate.

You would be absolutely batisht crazy to buy an instrument that relied on an application that runs under a web browser. It'd be crippled and useless within a week of them dropping support for it due to the fact it relied on software, much less a lightweight app like that.

That's the worst idea I've ever seen.
