EBMM Stingray 5 "Mystery" 4th position on 3-way switch??

OK, so I UTFS, and I didn't see any mention of the following phenomenon: I have a 2010 Stingray 5 with piezo bridge, and there appears to be a fourth setting on the 3-way switch, between the 1st and 2nd positions (closer to the 2nd). I'm no gear wizard, I can barely remember which is series and which is parallel. But this "ghost" setting seems to boost volume, and maybe the low end, by a noticeable amount. The switch will stay in that position on it's own, but it's easy to nudge it back to 2nd.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Lol. I actually like the mystery setting, but haven't tried it out on a decent rig yet, tho. And I'd have to get all McGyver on the switch so it didn't jump back to 2nd position during play.
