I have a stingray5 but it's not the newer special. I did however just get the BFR fretless which is made to the specs of the new specials. Here's a pic of the 2 of them:

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy touch up paint for the Stingray Specials?

I want to fill the screw holes from my removed pick guard and then paint over the filled holes.

Just as well it's an unlined fretless, or that would be the most visually confusing neck ever (until they combine that figuring with fanned frets)

The one pictured above can still be bought new off reverb from the ads I saw last week. But they limited it to only 106 so maybe they should offer it as a regular option. A 5 string fretless special would be cool.

Nope. I do too. Scott says it will be a 4 string special edition only.

Yeah, they don't seem to have any further fretless models planned at the moment. It wouldn't surprise me though if they did another BFR one-off but of a SR5 instead though. Hopefully they change their current stance about not offering any fretless models.

Everything I'm reading on that new BFR says it's passive. Is that the case? Does anyone have one that can comment on whether it's passive or not and what they think of the sound?
