Thanks a lot. This looks much better than the original white pearloid, especially with the matte black hardware.
That being said, after a long look at both the Speed Blue one and the Frost Green one, I think I'll go for the Green one in 4HH. Kind of reminds me of the old teal color (kind of, I know they're not identical, just a similar vibe shade-wise).
The Speed Blue is really cool, but it's less versatile I guess. That Blue is punchy and bright, plus the Black hardware is a bit of a "statement". The Frost Green one could be played in various types of bands without looking out of place. And yes I'm one of those people who think that a bass looks need to match the aesthetics and sound of a band

Since we’re showing off our tort guards...
- Original Slinky 50-105 Roundwounds for the classic scooped Stingray tone.
- D’addario NYXL regulars (pink box I think) for a bright and punchy tone with much more mids.
- Ernie ball Cobalt Rounds/flats for a much broader tone that is easy to shape on my preamp.

Charcoal Sparkle. I’ll post before and after shots once the plate arrives.
Nice. I've always liked the charcoal sparkle finish. I have a pickguard coming from Chandler soon too so I'll also have to post some before and after pics once it arrives.
Nope!! That is a beautiful bass but I’m a jazz bass lover.
But if anyone would rather have one of these instead of their purple Adam Clayton , message me and we can work out a deal.

After having the tort guard on for a day I must say that I'm liking it much more than I did initially. I may still order a black guard and possibly a clear one as well as I do like the Special "naked". Reminds me of my '81 L2K.
