Except if you have a strong OCD on perfect alignment (which I could understand as I’m a bit like that myself) I think it’s fine and does no affect playability and sound.

I would be losing sleep over it and checking every day to see if it went away
Eventually I may let it go but maybe not; so Most likely send pictures to EBMM/Seller and return it if can't be rectified

Yeah, I've done a few checks over the past few days.
I've got an email in to my guitar tech, who does great work, so I think I'll see what he says and then head over in the next couple weeks. The bass needs a setup anyway.
I'm past the return date with the seller, but I could reach out to EBMM if it starts to keep me up at night, which is not out of the realm of possibility.

Quick update on the finish on my tectonic blue SR5. I reached out to EBMM CS and they confirmed this is normal with sparkle type finishes. Ive looked at some online pics of other sparkle specials and indeed I see the same thing. They did offer to have it sent back to rebuff but Im on the fence about doing it. Its so minor that it seems not worth it. I cant feel any imperfections and it’s truly hard to see anyway.
In other news, Im divorcing my Fender and have another SR5S inbound. HH

Make sure to decide about the rebuff while it's still under warranty. Just sayin'.

No issues for me, I think that a little shift (as somebody else suggested) could be the solution. But I wouldn't be bothered
This is my SRS5. Neck pocket's wood (B side) may have been sanded a little bit too much on the outer side of the pocket, and the A string isn't 100% centered with the dots.
But I don't care about that, as long as the string spacing is correct and the strings are properly spaced between each other, and from both sides of the fretboard.
I think I've never seen a bass with strings 101% in line with the dots
I prefer the Sabre Classic
I haven't been able to buy one here in Italy, they're rare and they don't show up often on the used market.

Price was too high for me but I offered a few hundred dollars lower and they accepted with no haggling (I expected some back and forth but I'm certainly not complaining). Feeling good as if I don't get on with the bass I know I can sell without losing money. These specials are really holding their value in the market currently.

I use ernie ball strings on mine, sound good. I'm trying their cobalts next.
Ive only ever has sunbeams on mine…have yet to try EB slinky’s, I’ll have to put them on the to-do list.
I run the DR Nickel Low Riders on the fretted 5H and La Bella LTF on the fretless. I used the Sunbeams on my old BIG Al and liked them. I may give them another shot in the fretted 5.
I'm normally not an Ernie Ball Slinkys guy, but on a Stingray Special HH they sound awesome.
I liked the cobalt flats I tried a lot, but they would be too dull for a Stingray I think. How do the cobalt roundwounds compare? Is the tension the same? I like DR Sunbeam and Hi Beam tension which is lighter
Definitely brighter than the flats. I like them on the SR, really brings out the bite.
