Yeah I’m a fan of their bags too. I have one of the nice slim Vertigo cases as well as a dual one that can carry two basses…

EBMM StingRay Special Club

I have 2 mono m80 bags, I love it. I want a m80 dual since I always bring a backup bass to my gigs. The EBMM mono cases look awesome but the lack of a back strap kills it for me.
I almost bought one of these before I found my Aqua Sparkle 5H used.
I love the orange!
I agree - I don't like the EBMM Mono case quite as much as the other Mono bags that can be slung like a backpack - but since I already have 3 of the heavy SKB ones with my other Stingrays I decided to ask for their new Mono case with this one.
Finally got my hands on this MUSIC MAN StingRay 5 Special Ebony fingerboard Music Man hard case. Been playing All Day this is the best sounding and Lightest bass I’ve ever played.

And my new Special arrived today. I was shocked . It was due to arrive Monday. Sweetwater must have given me a free overnight shipping upgrade.
I’ll post pics and details later today. I’ve just spent several hours playing it.
I certainly prefer this over the Sandberg. It’s back up for sale . But if it doesn’t sell, I’m more than happy to keep it. The Special is lighter.
I need to sleep now. It’s already 2 hours into tomorrow.

Also, do you guys run factory specs (MM's FAQ has the bass setup guide) or your own? If so, what are yall's (string and pickup) height and relief measurements? I wanna leave this puppy running like a F1 car on Sunday.
Also, does anyone have any info on the Preamp frequencies and would mind educating me ln the 3 position switch? I can't seem to find any detailed infl.

Thomann Germany has a BFR Slugger in stock. At over 4k € it's quite pricey, but man that bass looks so freaking cool!
I could sell my 4H Aqua Sparkle and get the Slugger...but I don't think I can let go the Sparkle!!

I normally start with Roger Sadowsky measures and then adjust to taste from there.
About the positions:
Position 1 (closer to the bridge): Parallel
Position 2: Series with filter (simulates a single coil)
Position 3: Series
I set my action to the tradition "Fender" specs, somewhere between 3/32's - 4/32's from the top of the fret to the bottom of the string, on the 17th fret. The only thing I found was that when setting the pickup height to the EB specs, I had to lower the E string side, as it was to hot.
Beautiful! I always thought the Charcoal Sparkle looked nice, but then I saw one in the local Guitar Center and was blown away. It looks far nicer in person than in any pictures I've seen of it.
MusicMan's web site has schematics of the controls on their basses - here's the one for a single H Special. I don't recall ever seeing center frequencies for their EQ controls, but maybe you could ask about that on the Musicman Forums? They can be helpful but, if you haven't been there before, keep in mind that the forums are actually hosted by Musicman which makes them extremely pro-Musicman biased. So save any negativity for anything Musicman for other online forums.

I just could not resist !! I knew that I would regret not getting one of these if I let the opportunity pass me by. I missed out on the first one Sweetwater had in stock. Something told me Tom heck back and sure enough they had just gotten one in. I hesitated and slept on it. Early next morning it was still there so I snagged it.
You all know how much I love Sparkles.
Ever since I was a young girl and fell for StingRays I’ve always wanted a white one with white pickups and gold hardware . I still remember Rick James on stage with a white StingRay bejeweled with red shimmering rhinestones .
I also fell in love with White Corvette StingRay when I was a young girl.
White and gold are my wedding colors and I be always wanted a white StingRay bass and a to match my StingRay C7 Corvette. Well I got my dream car years ago. Now I finally have my dream bass to match.
I’m going to take some group pics when the weather is better and the car is freshly washed .
I hesitated on this one because I didnt like the feel of painted neck on my USA SUB StingRay and I didn’t care for my Aqua Sparkle 5HH . I sold both of those basses off and said never again.
Well here I am to happily feast on my own words !!! Christmas has come early for me. I’m dreaming of a white Christmas with golden snow flake sparkling like a freshly shaken snow globe !!!
I knew it would look great. But I had no idea it would look this good. Pictures don’t do this bass justice. You have to see it in person under the lights!!
Opening the case made me gasp!!! Most beautiful bass I’ve ever seen!!! It feels so good !!!
The neck is somehow smooth and not at all gripping . It’s sounds just as good as it looks.
I’m convinced that no one is building better factory basses than Ernie Ball. They have really upped their already great quality. I know it’s hard for them to keep up with demand and Specials are not so easy to find in stock. I think this is helping with attention to detail on what gets built.
These really are custom shop/ boutique quality. All 3 of mine are just stunning basses.
Im sure that new Anniversary model will not disappoint. But this is more my style.
It puts me in the mind of 2 basses I’ve always admired for their beauty .

Wow! You've got quite an impressive collection .... including that Sandberg. 
No rush (enjoy playing it for a while!), but would love to see more pictures once you can put it down for long enough to take them. Looks like there's some nice figuring on the fretboard?

Oh damn you got the new BFR! That thing looks amazing. I already have 3 white basses, a 4th might be a bit much lol. White 30th anniversay Stingray, White Dark Ray, and a white Sandberg VM2 5.
