Actually I give up.
Back to my cave.

I ended up buying one for like almost $50 shipped and took it off in 30 seconds after convincing myself it didn't look silly before buying it. Some folks love them but it just wasnt for me.I bought one but I don't like the feel of it.
I suppose I could get used to it but I might just sell it and recoup my losses.
Obligatory comment: cool finish!I ended up buying one for like almost $50 shipped and took it off in 30 seconds after convincing myself it didn't look stupid before buying it. Some folks love them but it just wasnt for me.
I ended up trying out one of those little cabinet bumpers and it works great for $2.88. Just have to find the domed ones and swap it out.View attachment 7369657
Thank you!Obligatory comment: cool finish!
One of the best EBMM finishes ever!!! My all timeWell, I have an awesome Jaguar and Bullet bass deluxe for sale. I just got a good deal on this to round out my collection and keep my Dazzler 4h company!
Honestly, I have never been a fan of the SR5 look at all but the insane sparkle makes up for it. That and I have never been a fan of playing 5 strings. My last new Fender ultra II jazz I just could never get used to the giant neck and crummy B.. I'm hoping the narrower SR5 neck is more easy to transition to!

If I didn't already have a purple StingRay, I'd be all over that. Seems like a steal! If anyone is looking for a Purple Ray35, I traded mine to GC recently to fund another bass purchase. Bass was in excellent condition. Has a Delano Quad Coil pickup, aftermarket pickguard, and a John East Preamp. Coil tap is wired Single (Neck), Series, Parallel, Single (Bridge). Solid deal if you want one with these mods (all significant upgrades from the stock setup). Was a great sounding and playing bass, but I was not playing it, so no need to keep it around.

That's the plan! My journey is finally over 30+ years and hundreds of basses later I finally discovered stingrays. Listening back to last rehearsal with my 4h Dazzler sealed the deal for me. It just cuts like a knife. One of the best EBMM finishes ever!!! My all time!! Purple sparkle
in all its glory!!!
Sell of those others you mentioned and you’ll financially recover in no time. Well worth every penny !! Best to get it while the getting is good!!![]()
Will do.When you get time , if love to see a pic of your lovely sparklers side by side.
Wolfgang!!!! What a talent.Um yeah, this was pretty cool to see on stage tonightit was cool to hear/see the Mean Street tapping riff played on both bass and guitar simultaneously tonight!View attachment 7371338View attachment 7371339
Thanks for your reply! Damn, don't think I'd like to be doing that on a 2 month old bass but thanks so much for pointing this out to me, I'll have a good dig around.
I'll also speak to EB or Thomann about if the warranty can sort it out.
In certain cases, has EBMM been known to take care of issues like this? Selling a replacement to a customer or repairs etc?Uh.. yeah. Used bass at killer price? I'm looking for a way to repair the neck. Brand new bass? It's going back.
I'd be taking it up with the retailer, frankly. In certain cases, has EBMM been known to take care of issues like this? Selling a replacement to a customer or repairs etc?
Contact EBMM. They will make it right. You might have to send them the neck and they will replace it with a different one. Go directly through them. If it is out of return window. If it can be exchanged, just do that . This is definitely out of the norm with EBMM but no one is 100% flaw free. It happens. Thanks for your reply!
