EBMM Stingray vs. G&L L-2000

Well, I have two L2000s and no Stingrays with no intention of buying one, so...

Well, I love my L2K, so I would choose that. Versatile tones, passive control are the main pros for me. My only con is that I cannot blend between the 2 pickups.

I lean towards the L2000... but if someone put a gun to my head and I had to get rid of one... I might end out with a bullet out of indecision.

G&L is more versatile.

Stingray has THE Stingray sound that the G&L just can’t quite nail.

I love G&L MFD though I’m not a big fan of the 1000 and 2000 mainly because of the 1.5” nutwidths too narrow for such a big personality electronic. I have both SB-1 and SB-2 CLFs.

You need to play them both. Big plus for the "Ray" Being 2 Band but you can't go wrong either way.

Love my L2000's ('06 and '23), really like my Sterlings (a 1 and a 2 pup models, use for recording), not much experience with MM's.

LOL - Yes, I've got a L2000 with the same natural body and rosewood fingerboard and I love it

If you like/want the iconic Stingray sound, there is only one choice. I have both. Neither can sound like the other.
