^ I didn't have time to buy mini-pots of the same resistance value than the mini trim pots.
There are 2 trim pots because they adjust the threashold of low and high frequencies in multiband mode.

The trim pots are 500k. Linear taper?

Awesome idea. However, I'll save you some work. Drill holes in the back of the pedal where the trim pots are.

Good idea, but, if the pedal is velcroed to a pedalboard it's not quite as practical as having the holes on the front.

After looking into a variety of options I decided I want to mod a Multicomp for external pots. Since this thread started, there have been a number of revisions to the pedal (studio edition, blue label, ...). If I plan to mod, do any of the newer models offer any advantages? Price difference on the used market appears quite steep, so it would be nice if I could go for an older model...
