ebs vs mark bass...

hi. i'd like to submit to all of you some questions:
i own a p500 mark bass head and a standard mark 4x10 (the old serie...) and i'd like to change them because i own them since 2004 and my ears are "over saturated"... :-)
i tested these: epifani (the two new heads) with a neo-serie 4x10 and a performance serie 4x10, aguilar (the one with 2 channels) with aguilar 4x10 (not the "classic" cab), eden traveller 400 with a poor 4x10 eden cabinet, gk 400 with the "flea" stack and... a ebs db650 with its 4x10 cabinet.
i fell in love with ebs.... it sounded to me very funk but, at the same time versatile...
today i went to the store with my p500 and compared ebs and mark with the ebs 4x10. the 2 heads are very similar :-/ mark is more "direct" and ebs a little bit "warm" but still slappin and poppin :-).
tomorrow i would like to try these two heads with epifani cabinets...
what do you think about?
and the question is... is it a "crime" to sell my "old" mark bass p500????
(about the mark 4x10 cabinet i think that there are better cabinets.... epifani, for example...)
i hope you can help me...
thanks
luca
