Eden Amp Farting

I bought a couple used Eden 410xlt cabs a couple weeks ago. First time playing a show with them was this last weekend. I had the cabs split between both sides of the stage and on our second set, one of them started farting on E string of my Jazz and all B E string notes on my 5 string.

I thought I had blown a speaker, but turns out that the gasket on the bottom of one of the speakers came loose and was flapping away from the frame on low notes. I ordered some black speaker glue today from Parts Express and hope that will be the cure. Just wanted to share. Anyone else ever experienced this issue?

No because I have an 8X10LXT that precludes me from splitting 4 ten inch drivers each side of the stage.
Therefore I only need half the amp power to achieve the same level due to coupling effects.
PS I also have very little or almost no off axis phase cancellation causing holes in my frequency response and I can clearly hear when I am causing loudspeaker stress because I have all my speakers where I can hear them clearly.

Of the small handful of Eden cabs I've been able to put my hands on, all of them had creased drivers. I've seen others local to me for sale in pawn shops and such and they were fine, but I look for that now in every speaker - never noticed it for years until someone pointed it out with Edens.

That said, I have no desire to own another Eden cab. Imagine hooking up a GK RB series head to one - I demoed an 800rb with a SWR Goliath III and it made that cabinet cry (but was stoopid loud!) Anyway, I pass on them now (unless it is a good buy so I could flip it, and the drivers are good!)

Yours should be an easy fix though.
