Eden D112XST

Looking at setting up a smaller rig for practice and small gigs. Have had very good luck with Eden products in the past but don't see too much love of late here on TB. Has anyone had any experience with the D112XST?

I'm not using the D112XST for bass guitar; I'm using for bass synth along with a GK MB500 head. It's working fine for me, right now and to my ears, it's sounds somewhat the D210XST, but not as powerful. I'm considering getting another one so I can get 500 watts out of the MB500. My only comment is to make sure you plug the 1/4 jacks if you don't you use them. If you don't plug them, the air will excape from the holes which will sound like the cabinet is farting out, but it's not. For small gigs, I would suggest using at least 2 cabs.

Thanks for the input and advice. I have been out of the gig scene for awhile but still have the Eden rig I bought 12 or so years ago. Sounds great and it took a pounding being a weekend warrior traveling around Fl, Al, Ga. Seems to me now that Eden has moved production they aren't quite what they us to be. Sad to see some company's moved production, and some were gobbled up by larger. I may just go with my original thought, the Tone Hammer and GS series cab....

FYI. It's my understanding that the D series cabinets such as the D112XST are made in Kentucky.

Tried one once. Very loud, lot of mids , not a lot of bottom though.

Agreed. I bought one and shortly returned it. I prefer the 210xst.

I have two d112xst cabs, love them and get plenty of bottom end out of them. Sometimes I combine them (one or both) with my d210xst and that works out well too.
