I picked up a 500W D210XST4 a while back from a music store. I tried it out in the store at a moderately low volume. It seemed okay. I brought it home and ended up sticking it in a corner and letting it sit for a few months as my rig needs had changed. I decided to sell the cab the other day and hooked it up for a test run. You can't get on this thing at all. It farts on accents and low notes not allowing an increase in volume. At low volumes it sounds fine. I noticed there is a lot more cone movement by the right speaker than the left.
So, shame on me for not being more dilligent when checking the cab out in the first place. Too late for any recourse there. Looks like I either scrap the cab or think about replacements.
Here I was thinking of selling the cab and now I have to consider new speaks? What are Eden's EC-1060XS each, a couple hundred? If the cab is worth a new pair of speaks I'll do it. Kind of caught in a tough spot. I paid $400 for the cab just about six months ago.
Thanks
