Eden D410XLT

Alright so I just got back from Guitar Center and I'm really confused:confused:

I played a bunch of amps there from the three main brands that they had which are Gallien Krueger, Ampeg and Markbass. I really liked Ampeg 6x10(through a $1500 head ofcourse) but it looks wayyyy out of my price range.

However, I found a killer deal on an Eden D410XLT and I am hoping that anyone who owns this amp can give me a review of their experience with it. Also if anybody has a strong recommendation for a different Cab, that they would share that real quick.

Oh and I've got about $500 that I have to use BUT I'm good at finding deals and it doesn't have to be brand new.

Thanks Guys:)

Dude, you can't go wrong! The Eden 410XLT is one of the best loved speaker cabinets of all time. If the cab is in good shape, and no speakers are blown, you will love it. Very growly, punchy sound that goes very loud and is very efficient. This means that even with a less powerful amp, you can get lots of volume without clipping the amp.

I have a 4 ohm version and think its fantastic.

Those are hard to sell used (for some strange reason), so keep an eye on Craigs and you can do even better, but $500 is not bad at all. I think bassnw still sells those used for $599, which I think is 'retail' for a used 410xlt. That's what I paid for mine from them about 10 years ago.
