Does anyone know the difference between the Eden E300T and the Eden WTB300V? The only difference I can tell is cosmetic.

ya, somewhere on here there's pics of the insides of both and they're not identical. not by much, though.We changed the cosmetics and made the mute function also mute the DI. This is built for us in the Smarvo factory to our specs it is not a clone of the Smarvo Fame. (This is a common miconception)
Amps work upside-down? Does this affect the phase of the output?I have read that some Eden E300T owners play with this amp upside down to keep the tubes on the bottom, and to allow the heat to rise through the vent that is, of all places, on the bottom !
So, when you turn this amp upside down, the tubes are on the bottom, and the vents are on the top.
Why was this amp designed this way ? Will it really make a big difference in heat dissipation ? There seems to be enough ventilation, although I would like to replace the front cloth with a grill.

i would never use an amp that only worked upside down, and i doubt even us music would put out an amp that would only work upside down. i think it's silly. fender amps always hung their tubes the same way and i've never had one overheat.

Speaking as a someone who has the same amp in the "correct" orientation, it's not as much the tubes that overheat, it's the capacitors in the chassis. And unless Eden has changed the bear claw retainers to top-hats, the tubes will fall of eventually.
Well they did flat out lie about the origins of the amp in the beginning which probably says something about them.
AFAIK Fender didn't have any amps with tube dissipation larger than 25W, and all of them had bakelite or plastic bases, so bear claws were adequate substitution for more secure retainers.
